I really don’t understand why people want to recreate the suburbs in the city. I live in the city because I want a bit of noise, excitement, and access to goods/services on foot.

It’s even better in person. They have preserved it with incredible care. Still have painted signs everywhere.

It’s hard to build a strong relationship when you see every interaction as a Zero Sum game. I assume Vance, and the rest of the cult, feel a need to “win” their marriage, because that’s the only way they understand the world.

Secretly one of the worst parks in baseball. Charmless, overpriced, generic park with nothing interesting to eat or drink.

This is the downside of single ownership. The existing teams have no real voice, and the league is absolutely incentivized to make the new teams a success.

Agreed. The protection lists should have been around 5. Getting to pluck the 4th, 5th, 7th & 8th player off each roster will fundamentally change the existing teams.

This is the approach I’ve taken so far. Not booing, just not holding their anthem in reverence.

See, I’m a night person, so I much prefer the later games. The day I don’t need to be up before 7:30 on a weekend will be a sweet, sweet day.

I need to know. He cares more about his Mar-a-Lago membership than his country of origin. Time to stop treating him like a national hero, and instead recognize him as a guy who is from here, and was great at hockey.

It takes a lot to piss off a Canadian, but here we are. Until Orange Julius Caesar is behind bars, we can no longer view America as anything other than a hostile nation.
