Other stand-alone fantasy favorites of mine are 'Gods of Jade and Shadow' by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (historical fantasy with Mayan mythology) and 'The King's Damosel' by Vera Chapman (Arthurian legend). :)

Good time to take advantage of the local library if you have one! If you need something light and short with elements of both fantasy and mystery, I recommend 'Piranesi' by Susanna Clarke.

3. Updated some of the code with the banquet scene and added some flavor. The reaction the MC has to the betrothal reveal will help set the tone for the story, but does not lock the player into any path or ending.

2. Updated descriptors for the MC to be more flavorful and lore-friendly, and fixed some bugs I caught while playtesting.
