She kept calling me "the little one" (I was two heads taller than her), petting my arm. She was a shadow of the woman who used to play with me, rode sleighs with me & showed me how to peel potatoes, how to sew and crochet. But she loved me and it was so obvious. Hug your loved ones, people. 3/3

I said it's ok bc it's more important to be there for people while they're alive. And for me, I had said good bye months before at the old people's home. She had dementia, I was shit scared she'd not recognise me. She didn't remember my name, but it was obvious she knew who I was. 2/3

Recently made the first lino print in years only to find out the lino print colour I have had dried up so I blame part of how wonky part of this is on the fact that I had to try and resurrect my colour but it's still partly too liquid and partly grizzly.

I occasionally bind proper books but I'm not very good at it. However I like to make these open backed notebooks because they make good birthday presents for people
