On a shining space colony, the grim Gundam Death Scythe, piloted by Duo Maxwell (a nice young man), launches the Wing Gundam, piloted by Heero Yuy (a very troubled young man) into the air with a rising scythe attack. Boy soldiers marched into battle by cruel, unseen masters.

The mobile suit Vayeate, piloted by Lady Une (a psychopath) unloads its massive cannon on the Gundam Sandrock, piloted by Quatre Winner (a delicate angel). The young man's allies watch the contest stoically, baking in the afternoon desert sun.

In the docking bay of a warship overlooking our pale blue dot, the protoype Gundam Tallgeese, piloted by Zechs Merquise (a proud knight) confidently slices its twin beam sabres into the hull of a Mercurious mobile suit piloted by Lucrezia Noin (lesbian fighter pilot).

Battling on the deck of an aircraft carrier at twilight, the Gundam Shenlong, piloted by Chang Wufei (a blowhard with a sword), delivers a decisive melee strike to Death Scythe, potentially tumbling the grim Gundam into the drink below.

Meet Taneo Tanamatsuri, your stereotypical Japanese salary man in his mundane gray suit, pink tie, horn-rimmed glasses and meek smile. He might seem ordinary, but his day will turn out to be anything but.

Here we see him instructed by his sexy supervisor lady to do some stretching by doing a dance, seemingly going so well that they're all in a trance (a dance trance), bopping to a catchy ska tune while the endless black vortex of the universe is gazing back at them.

Things quickly turn sideways as a construction site manages to drop an enormous metal Earth globe which crashes into the building and starts chasing Taneo through a corridor with one of this lady co-workers being caught in the chase, running frantically as she's throwing checks in the air, possibly costing the company multiple pennies in paper costs.

Being ever close to complete disaster, Taneo somehow ends up on a flag pole held by a flimsy statue of a muscly man, shakily balancing high up in the air with a beautiful sunset view of the city.

A lone newspaper page flies by, reminding Taneo that there's so much beauty in the world.

Just as he manages to get to safety, the whole thing collapses and Taneo ends up in an ambulance that shortly throws him out, stretcher and all, so he has to speed on by through the highway as cars are driving towards him from the opposite direction.

If I didn't know better, and I don't, I'd say the universe is trying to off this guy but still failing miserably.
