Irc is one of those 'it ain't broke so don't fix it' technologies. Yes there is some expertise involved. But truly 'group chat' is a solved issue. The only reason other methods are popular are ux and graphics related. People love their animated emotes and reactions to specific messages.

In games you face shared experiences with other players but have your own unique hardships in well made games. In long form media there are characters developed and events that happen that can make you self reflective and introspective. If that isn't what makes a 'whole personality' idk what does

He works for a propaganda company of course someone 'made him do it' and he'll keep doing it because he keeps choosing to work for the propaganda company

Some of these are really good. The tarutaru made me laugh. Prishe looks super stately.

Some of my favorite fighting games have great intentional balance some stumbled into it. This notion that it's all vibes is misguided. It's okay to stumble into balance if you prioritize fun. It is fine to choose fun over balance. But that doesn't mean balance isn't real and doesn't matter. It's art

Balance is absolutely real. But it is true that balance is in service to design goals not pure math and logic. Bad games with an emphasis on bounce tend to have poor models for what their over arching design goal is and how to make balance decisions based on that. Balance is real but needs context.

I feel like it'd be harder to write a better resume for 'the type of person you expect to be on Bluesky' than that. Hope you had a good holiday Martin, cheers.

My favorite it's not great but has a special place in my heart is Cubivores for the gamecube. Has some bops too.

This is why we are friends. I adore your affable heart. When you play a game at the right time of your life it's its own vibe. Sometimes it just clicks.

Side note though I feel like a remake of 9 could be really good. It needed a lot more time in the oven and a remake would be just that.

Sorry T I'm glad you like the game, but for me it's barely a Visual Novel let alone a game. The development of that game was a fucking nightmare and resulted in a lot of crappy character writing decisions. I played an entire ttrpg to work through how annoying some of the writing in that game is

I did a research paper for this during college recently and I'm convinced this is where the real power of a.i. is not gpts. There are some pitfalls, if you feed it in data that supports existing structural biases it can be very bad and not do the thing it is supposed to do and get around human bias.

legitimately the first slice of life Juri I've seen in basically forever. A lot of people get weird with her but she's just a grumpy girl at the end of the day. Thanks.

They eat it up because it takes all of the things that let them win in iv and are more in their wheelhouse of experience and how they want to play with none of the nuance 4 or even 3 provided. Thats why you see top players going back to their favorite in the franchise so often. It's a pale imitation
