A stone in a dry, white sea.

We have a similar issue in Rochester, especially this time of year. When we first moved up here it was August and I was really confused why it felt so hot in our apartment despite the temperature being 70F and why none of our clothes dried overnight on the drying rack...

Nice! What is it now?

I met Frank Hsu at Fordham University a few years back, who published with Erdős: www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti... It was really cool talking with him about it.

I looked the conference up after seeing you were speaking at the RL&VG workshop and it looks really cool. I wish I had known about it before the paper deadline. Oh well, there's always next year!

I always joked in grad school about accepting sponsorship deals from snack food companies for targeted advertisements to students. "And now for the A* algorithm review, brought to you by Monster Energy!" Maybe have a bunch of advertisement patches on my tweed jacket.

Not sure whether you are dreaming or trapped within a cinematic crossover of Philip K. Dick movies? Just apply Ubik aerosol! Yes, like Ubik liquid and gel, our new aerosol formula solidifies reality without lacquer or grease. Ubik aerosol - you don't have to hold it in your hand to know it's real.

When I tried to go beyond the basic boilerplate, it started hallucinating an API that I had to do research on to discover didn't exist though, so it may have actually cost me time overall.

I've used LLMs as a coding assistant a couple times and the instance that *felt* the most helpful was when I wanted to write a PowerPoint macro and had never done it before. It gave me some boilerplate code tailored to my problem, saving me a few trips to StackOverflow.

This is absolutely wild. It's like a whole website of people accidentally Tweeting their private Google searches.

The coding project I have gotten the most help from an LLM on was creating a custom VBA macro for PowerPoint to automate section progress slides I include in my lectures. But at a certain point it started making up API components that didn't exist and led me down a dead end.
