I’ve been on the ESSCA board for four years and was blown away by how many people showed up to call for safer streets—and demand that @mcdotnow.bsky.social do their job. it is progress, and I’m hopeful that we can actually make some positive change

fascinating. we used to have republicans like that in maryland but now most of them (at least in the dc suburbs) just call themselves democrats, which is very confusing

This group doesn’t have the sanction of the community it thinks it does

and the Planning Board just voted 3-1-1 in favor of the Notley Road rezoning 😮‍💨 it was good to see vice chair @joshlinden.bsky.social push back on some negative comments about townhouses and who lives in them. next the Board of Appeals will take this up, followed by the County Council this winter.
