kind of nasty but the real joy of this book is just soaking in the dense, horrible setting. I'm planning to read it again next and pick up so much stuff I missed.

Book 3: Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle

Just noticed I wrote stars instead of starts. Apart from that, this post I made in April covers what I want to say.
I just finished reading the horror novel Bury Your Gays by @chucktingle.bsky.social and it was superb. A gay screenwriter stars being haunted by monsters from his previous works. A sweet, funny, nasty, angry, aspirational howl against the oppressive Hollywood algorithms ruining art. Loved it.

of legacy, history, and the stories told about/by us vs the reality we lived. Entertaining fantasy storytelling and such a clever take on the broken old fighter going on one final mission. Great end to a great trilogy.
