The more valuable the labor, the more security it receives; the less valuable individuals, the less likely they are to receive basic survival guarantees, as they are deemed worthless and need to be eliminated. Thus, if someone becomes unemployed, seriously ill, or old, losing their labor value, they are easily pushed to the bottom, ending up on the streets.
