Saw NOW YOU SEE ME, NOW YOU DON’T last night and it was just great fun.

Enjoyed it more than THE RUNNING MAN, probably because it’s what I wanted that film to be, switch your brain off and just enjoy

I’ve also never paid for a COD game in years, last one I bought must have been Infinite Warfare, after that I’ve just played them as and when they become free on Game Pass or PSN

In the past I loved the campaigns in Call of Duty (I played for those more than the online), over the last few years they’ve been terrible and keep getting worse

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 campaign is terrible and I’m questioning the choices they made in it….

Can we stop referring to everything as ‘slop’ It’s a word that’s completely been misused to just refer to anything and everything as ‘slop’

Kinda hard to follow up PREDATOR BADLANDS with the next cinema release being THE RUNNING MAN because damn, Predator smashed it out the park!

I’m also a huge Edgar Wright fan but this wasn’t it for me, with this and his last film I feel he’s strayed away from his signature style. You see some of it in this with the music but even those choices kinda felt off

I get THE RUNNING MAN is based off Stephen Kings book but yeah, the whole concept and messaging is one of those that doesn’t fit in this environment right now. It’s too accurate to the present so it’s kinda hard to switch off and enjoy the movie.

So THE RUNNING MAN, it’s enjoyable for what it is, feels long though and the messaging is really non-stop.

Sadly it’s all so accurate for our time now it doesn’t feel like any shock factor when you see the ‘sort of twists’

Why is the whole film world now obsessed with how much money a films made. It’s all I’m seeing about PREDATOR: BADLANDS
November 11, 2025 at 8:34 AM
I don’t think we take into consideration actors sitting through this mundane task

I mean sure, they make a truck load of money but I just don’t think I could sit there for 10+ hours doing this and then go and do my actual job on set for god knows how many more hours and actually be good?
Jacob Elordi spent up to 10 hours a day in the makeup chair for his transformation in 'Frankenstein'

• 42 prosthetic pieces across his entire body

• 14 pieces just for the head and neck

• He’d sometimes arrive at midnight and stay up all night

“Never once did he complain"

Genuinely love the end of the year all for everyone’s round ups, I love seeing what everyone’s top films were and what music everyone listened to the most, I’m stats freak

Once I’ve got my definitive list for the end of the year I might do a post about each of the films and why they’ve made it into this years top 👌🏻

Currently at 12 so I’ll need to know a couple off by the end of the year #filmsky

One Punch Man downfall needs to be studied!

Manga was HUGE when it came out then the anime took the world by storm but the hype died out because of the lacking animation in S2 and the huge gap go S3 (plus the mage is forever changing!)

Last night watched the new FRANKENSTEIN film from Guillermo del Toro and it was a really good adaption, with some stunning visuals! A story we’ve seen a million times but it felt fresh from del Toros perspective!

Just a shame it’s on Netflix and not on the big screen

PREDATOR BADLANDS is INCREDIBLE! I loved every second of it, exploring the lore, the world, the story and characters!

I couldn’t say which is better between PREDATOR, PREY and PREDATOR BADLANDS! They’re all up there as the top!

I’ve been rewatching Stargate and have wrapped up 10 seasons of SG-1 (half way through Atlantis)

My god you feel empty when you’ve finished such a big undertaking. I miss my SG-1 already!

If we’re having big gaps in TV show seasons, then we need good recaps because god I don’t remember what happened on an episode of something last week let alone 2-3 years ago!

Bugonia is an incredible film by the way and everyone should go see it because it just makes the mind SPIN!

That’s all because I keep seeing people saying they’re not seeing Bugonia all because it made X amount against an X budget after its opening weekend or whatever
November 3, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Ive said it once and I’ll say it again, stop getting swayed on whether or not to see a film based on how much it earned, whether that’s its opening day, weekend, week, month, lifetime, whatever!
