As an Iowan, I’m furious about this. Joni Ernst is a coward and an embarrassment. She had the opportunity to do the right thing but was too weak. Shame on her. 👎
Sen. Joni Ernst could've torpedoed Hegseth's nomination for defense secretary. She's a military veteran and survivor of sexual assault. Hegseth was credibly accused of abuse of women, including rape.
