I don’t believe him to be who most of his constituents like and approve of due to gerrymandering and low voter turnout. It’s probably the choice of about 30% of the population.

This is a very gerrymandered district. And Texas had terrible voter turn out. These may be his constituents and not his voters.

What can we do?

I can. We do not have a functioning system of justice. Honestly, only the people could have stopped by not voting for this fucking guy again.

I was thinking the same thing. It feels like the powers that be were finally listening and willing to really help. Unfortunately, we’re all at the whim of would be strongmen who don’t know what they’re talking about.
