Some more gallant chaps for King or Parliament. Did a bit more highlighting work on the skin for these guys; might have gone a bit far as they look a little ghostly in photos, but they're good from arm's distance. Again, these painted up in record time; on to the next ones!

Unbelievably satisfying to smash these guys out to tabletop standard in the space of an afternoon - underpainting/slapchop is incredible for these historicals. Probably go back and tidy them up, and do some highlighting, but for now, these chaps are done and ready to go!

One could do a riff on Borges’ Pierre Menand, Author of Don Quixote. The Iliad in C7 BCE was in a traditional narrative-poetic form. The Iliad as a new novel in 2023 is an extraordinary work of experimental fiction. What other novels on the list would risk a Catalog of Ships?
