Local man literally cannot stop painting tiny metal guys in silly trousers.

More Royalist Fops/Parliament Rooks from Bloody Miniatures. Plus a lonely Scots Covenanter who came as a bonus model. Perhaps he took a wrong turn at Hereford. Which gives me an idea...

Some more gallant chaps for King or Parliament. Did a bit more highlighting work on the skin for these guys; might have gone a bit far as they look a little ghostly in photos, but they're good from arm's distance. Again, these painted up in record time; on to the next ones!

Unbelievably satisfying to smash these guys out to tabletop standard in the space of an afternoon - underpainting/slapchop is incredible for these historicals. Probably go back and tidy them up, and do some highlighting, but for now, these chaps are done and ready to go!

In our mini episode for this week, Justin gets back at Adam for being muscled out of the last episode by sitting down with Albert to talk about group cider tastings.

Gettin' on that Old World Train with MY SKELETAL MINIONS.

Had these minis for nigh on two decades unpainted, and with TOW I've finally plucked up the courage to paint them.

I forget how much Iove reading - I stare at books going "urgh no I can't face it" and then as soon as I open one up, I'm going "oh hell yes oh fuck yes"

In today’s new piece Adam wonders is he’s just a shill for Big Sugar and tastes an epic range of cold racked ciders from bluesky-shy Artistraw. Enjoy the read! cider-review.com/2023/11/22/a...

Napoleon loves English perry. Pass it on.

In today’s rants piece, Adam questions whether the Napoleon quote ever happened, and whether it needs to take up so many of perry’s column inches. He also tastes a trio of French pear perries from Little Pomona cider-review.com/2023/11/18/p...

One could do a riff on Borges’ Pierre Menand, Author of Don Quixote. The Iliad in C7 BCE was in a traditional narrative-poetic form. The Iliad as a new novel in 2023 is an extraordinary work of experimental fiction. What other novels on the list would risk a Catalog of Ships?
