I know I shouldn't be, but I am still decently happy with how these hands turned out. the nails are in dire need of repair but I feel good about the subtlety of the knuckles and the slight curvature of the fingertips. (but even now I can see things I want to improve)

ok auto rig pro, you've won me over I guess. (I did not expect these sleeves to work even half this decently without more pain).

Interesting, QAG’s screenshot has a different count of ballots than I’m seeing elsewhere?

I don’t really know anything about cheese but if you’re a cheese normie and you just want some better-than-sandwich-cheese cracker cheese, hard recommend this stuff (Coastal English cheddar).

“okay-ish” Election Day pour is a good omen

Anyways here is a chimpanzee boxer?

You know the update is going well when the screen has looked like this for over 5 minutes

It’s also funny if you read the bottom line in the same tone as someone telling you to be patient (I.e. “keep your shirt on”

Ok I never want to deal with another spring loaded TP dispenser ever again. Why aren’t they all just like this

It doesn’t quite have the distinct hatching I think you’re looking for but FF12 is some of the best character art direction ever and largely seems to have been trying to carry the torch of his sketches. But I like the UO/13S:AR mentions, feels more 1:1 than 3d adaptations

(Another example of it).

In the early days we tried very hard to make a moving sun light work, but ultimately (and correctly) decided a static light would just make our lives easier. At the time I was so sad to lose this effect I had been so excited for, so getting it back was joyous.

To any other moka pot users out there, I know James Hoffman says to run it under a cool tap before it sputters and becomes bitter but imo using a bowl is way better. If you tilt the pot it’s going to sputter, so keeping it upright is key.

Finally bought Uniform (3d iPad app in part made by Pablo Dobarro who helped do great work on Blender’s sculpt features).

Some quick thoughts:

Well. Because you mentioned it…

I think about yellow paint discourse every time I walk past this hospital. (Yellow bollards, yellow paint, yellow signs, yellow writing.)

Walking into home office. “Hmm. That’s not a good smell.”

Ah.

There’s a lot I like about our silly little game but climbing giant trees and seeing the community building cute little alleyways with 90s era computer lab are high up on that list

Dang apparently Fortnite updated their clouds in Chapter 6. I played a bit for the first time in a long time and was super impressed. IIRC they used to use built in Volumetric clouds and it seems they shifted to more bespoke static clouds. Some of the best looking in games right now IMO

A fun hobby is to go wandering in street view to places I’ve never been. Check out this electrical wire cluster/ meter in Manila! The arrangement of the meters starts to feel almost botanical.

Why did they implement 6 different color selectors? Is this really necessary?
