All of this — pardons/permission, changing of election rules/administration and redistricting, the national voter database, investigations of bogus fraud claims — is aimed at a singular goal: ensure Republicans can’t lose elections, and if they do, make it so that no one believes it.

Republicans here will use this as pretext to claim fraud in future elections — like next year’s Senate battle — to say that Democrats cheated. Now, they have the DOJ helping them.
