Did an early Linklater film deep dive last weekend - not included here is Suburbia, which I dug. Slacker was also very cool early experiment. He really loved making films that take place in one day! A good lead-up to Nashville.
Also - sexy beast completely rules.

Saw Nashville (1975) in 35mm today at the Metrograph. First time viewing - I would say I was resistant for the first hour - it is such a loud cacophony of bits - and then it slowly won me over and by the end I was just bowled over. The kind of film that demands repeat viewing. Lily Tomlin! #filmsky
