They painted the turbine fan blades. Blades contain thin cooling channels which if blocked would cause blades to overheat / melt. Probably requires complete stripdown of engine to be sure it can operate safely. These engines cost $15-$25 million each.

Provided T&Cs make clear trees can be planted and it is not your designated space I am fine with these (I do live on a terrace street though!). Don't think they should be heavily subsidised, but right that councils coordinate there installation.
They are certainly better than this near my parents:

Agree. I would have put fuel duty up last October. case even more compelling given stronger £. Walk past a school near chucking out time & engines left running (despite it being illegal). But I think unlikely Reeves increasing it. I worry we might get another panic Fuel Duty cut.

The extra ordinary spin is not the bit quoted (which IMO is what Trump is doing). The 1st sentence is worse.

The bit Liam selectively quoted was, IMO, correct. Trump is playing mind games with European polititians.
But it was not the worst part of the post. That was the opening sentence.
Though at least Boris agrees with the facts of the situation

I think there is evidence that some wheelers can't fit on the slither of pavement left to accommodate drivers that can't keep to the road

Took this photo yesterday in Lancashire. Was surprised sun was setting at 15:50.
Cheered me up hearing that sunset will be getting later tomorrow.

Lovely photos / dog. My Jess would be available for any roles involving chasing (cats & squirrels a speciality) or eating food.

Wonderful light & mist on this mornings dog walk.

I went for a walk in the local woods to try and improve spirits. Autumn colours were lovely. I didn't get much exercise, but my dog ran a fair bit.
