I had a good day of #boardgames at #TokenCon yesterday. Unfortunately I was only able to do Friday this year. Looking forward to next year!

Finally got Oath back to the table! Anybody else name the characters? We call them The Cloaked Crow, Travels in Shadow, Cloud Boy, Multi-Hand Monty, and Fox the Great. #boardgames

Tip for anyone is having overheating problems while recording with a Sony A7IV and already changed the overheating setting - try turning on airplane mode and leaving the electronic viewfinder open and away from the camera body. That seemed to help me today anyway.

For those of you that record plays with BGStats, do you record the storyteller in Blood on the Clocktower? If so, how do you do it? #boardgames

Pagan: Fate of Roanoke First Impressions

+ Good tension
+ Unfolding decision space
+ Difficult decisions
+ Lovely artwork
+ Asymmetry

- Minor UX quibbles
- Didn't feel deduction as much as I had hoped
- Longer playtime than I liked

Overall, very good! Looking forward to more plays.

I'm pretty good at picking up on zero-level heuristics in board games, but not so much at seeing the others. I also hadn't thought about designers intentionally including them and found that interesting.
