We thank elected leaders @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social and @crockett.house.gov who are demanding the release of detained kids. And we thank Senate Dems for voting NO on more funding for ICE and CBP until they stop the violence against immigrants and their communities. This vote matters.

These are ordinary families, many lawfully navigating the immigration system, now swept up in a horrific dragnet.
As @adamserwer.bsky.social once noted: Cruelty isn’t a failure of this policy. It’s the point.
Children do not belong in jails.
Families belong together.
And this system must end.
