It is an amazing beach in Portugal - Praia da Rocha Baixinha. (Beach of the rocky cliff.) It was a total accident that we found it. We were just trying to find a campground and once we parked we took the trail to the beach. As you said - Wow!

Yes. Just as we remember those who joined the Nazi party so they could eat. We only remember them as nazis and collaborators in the holocaust.

Me too. Yeah it bothered me but I knew he was in shock and grief too. Thankfully I have the things she gave me during her life. Oh well, life. It’s not for sissies! 😉

Our mothers are so precious to who we are. I lost mine in 2011 to ALS. (My father cared for her to the very end - earning my eternal devotion in spite of his politics).
I would’ve loved to have had some of her things, but shortly after her death, he cleared out the house & sold it. My condolences.

Space it excellent! A few years after the death of my husband, I tried to let go of things. There were bits & pieces I loved. It felt like a betrayal of those years we had together. Covid reminded me that now is all we have. I decluttered to have light & air. I know he would’ve loved the result.

You know what I say. Ask for help because it will make that wonderful social connection and bring joy to someone else to be needed. Um… unless it’s a hernia inducing oak & lead lined bookcase… I had one like that once… left it behind in my last move!

No. I stopped sending paper cards in 2003. Everything I do now is digital.
