I’m so sorry you went through that with your grandmother. Some people can be really unfair and are really disruptive instead of thinking of the comfort of their loved one.

As a hiring manager, I like to hear from my potential employees that they would give a 2 week notice to their current employer. It’s just a professional courtesy, I think.
