My son had a sensory meltdown at my dad’s birthday dinner. He ended up busting my lip while I tried to calm him. We left and took him home. He’s never acted like that in a restaurant before.

Next bucket list trip will be going to the springs in Flori-DUH so I can hopefully see some manatees and otherwise enjoy nature/water. Aiming for my birthday weekend, as the weather will be cooler.

You would think the hardest part of hospice would be dealing with death and dying all the time when it’s really drama from people. 🙄

Sometimes I wish we could see all the different paths and consequences that stemmed from our decisions.
That would make shit a lot more efficient.

Trip went way better than expected. I got to meet some goals, cross items off my bucket list and it gave me a really good boost of energy and resolve.
On the other hand, transitioning back to regular life has been a challenge. Not like PCD. Something deeper which makes me feel a little unsettled.

I have writer’s block, so I’ve been rewatching Bridgerton and doing other busy work.
I’m excited to go to Dallas in a couple weeks, but also woefully unready in terms of flying there. Southwest has always been a steadfast choice, but I’m not pleased with all the changes they have made this year.

I have writer’s block, so I’ve been rewatching Bridgerton and doing other busy work.

Spent a good amount of time swimming today. I wish I was able to do it more often. I feel so settled after.

I got my wax done today and it wasn’t as painful as I anticipated. My legs kinda jerked a little (I apologized at least like 5 times), but it wasn’t bad at all.
I never thought I would ever lay on a table butt ass nekkid so a stranger could pour hot wax on me, but we grow more every day. 😅

This kid went missing yesterday morning in Mesa, AZ. His name is Zayden and he's 14 years old. Personally, I worry he got caught up in some of this #ICE crap, even though he's not Latino.

80% + of our payments come from Medicare in hospice.
We are a nonprofit, community based hospice. There are some hospice patients in our community where we are the only people who come check on them. Without Medicare reimbursement, we can’t provide medications, supplies or equipment.
