Working in Conservation. Love cephalopods and amphibians, especially those sweet toads!

All views my own
I was pulled for a glass ornament of a stumpy cuttlefish in my luggage at LAX, which I do think they were very disappointed at when they uncovered it! No cephalopod love there!

I had one of these sweeties hop onto me in the garden over the weekend, an incredible shade of green!

Is the full spending list with all teams going to be published? I would be keen to know amounts for all the championship teams

You're welcome. It's always a good sign if it's moved on by itself.

Keep that photo of its back pattern and keep an eye out for the same frog around the garden. I love tracking how often you see the same individuals.

How did I not see this on the day!

Always welcome to join me on my Amphibian surveys, I'm spending most evenings out counting frogs, toads, and newts at the moment, and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else with my March nights.
Many stunning toads seen these last few weeks!

Brilliant find! I love slow worms!

2/2 The best thing to do is to pop the frog somewhere sheltered next to the pond and see if it will self-correct. (I'm always surprised what frogs can come back from - I had a frog recover from a pretty bad prolapse last year, I couldn't believe it when it arrived this year, totally fine!)

Hi Dan,
Amphibian bloat can be caused by a few things, sometimes they can get an infection, especially intestinal, that causes them to take on too much water or air into their digestive system, which can often be seen by the belly being the affected part. 1/2

The name Barry must be having a surge of popularity, I had a school group planting silver birch trees last week, and one of those new trees was named Barry...

Definitely! An exciting time ahead for you!
I probably spend too much time thinking about managing the water in the garden, but it's all worth it for all our local amphibians (and friends).

When we moved in our place, we'd built two ponds before actually painting our bedroom - priorities 🐸

This is very tempting to do off of the greenhouse... certainly another project for me after I get the broken fence replaced!
Our main roof downpipe goes into a waterbutt then it's overflow heads into our pond.

Great bargain! I've spent the day staring at our frogspawn and re-potting our veg seedlings - a great day for it!
