Countercounterprotesters lurking. They were conferring (not debating) with some of the right wingers walking through the counterprotest.

A passerby (doesn’t seem like a counterprotester) said to the spd at this barricade that the mayday USA rally is “cool.” SPD officer smiled and nodded in apparent agreement.

Stepping back outside a few minutes after the protest passed here, we see a group of around 20 SPD on bicycles trailing the protest. Very similar to the last protest march I saw from work.

I’ve seen four armed SPD POET officers. I know I’ve been out of the protest seen a while when I don’t know what performative window dressing SPD PR is fielding.

Again, trapped at work when I’d rather be marching. Luckily the march came to me. Hard to see numbers where I am but looks like a couple thousand people. Police escorts, plus bicycle & motorcycle corkers. Beautiful day for a protest.
