The NHL acknowledges the combined individual records/stats as you have shown, but I've never seen them recognize team stats such as division titles. I could be wrong on that. Also, the retired numbers went back into circulation after relocation.

I think it wouldn’t be as much as a slap in the face if both teams acknowledged previous players and team records. The moment you don’t do that, you should lose the rights to the previous franchise’s identity.
