If you are T.R.A.S.H., do not interact with me.

The concept of property rights and the borders around property are a disaster, not only as they extend towards oppressive relations between people, but between everything that exists around us

2020: Microsoft sets goal to be carbon negative by end of the decade.

2023: Microsoft's emissions are 30% higher than in 2020.

Main cause? The relentless push to meet AI demand, which requires new data centers built out of carbon-intensive steel, cement, chips.

It's not *just* violence workers; middle managers, HR, most consultants, the majority of the professional managerial class exist in this realm of being the personal army of capital

Explicit, raw violence is not the only way that capital puts a gun to the head of the working class

The best way to avoid plastic waste is to not make the plastic in the first place, to leave the fucking petroleum in the ground

Annoying how in all the mainstream coverage of earth day people talk about plastic garbage and litter, but nobody asks why there's so much plastic being churned out in the first place

That it's the job of the consumer to struggle to avoid plastic, and not the responsibility of the producers

Financialization, assisted by the wide adoption of neoclassical economic values based on the concept of an abstracted market which govern everything on the principle of abstract market forces, minimizes the role of labor in favor of abstract supply and demand and preferences

The idea of slashing "excessive" building regulations, and giving subsidies and handouts to "good" capitalists to create a balanced and growth-minded market is very appealing to wonk-fetish liberals

The same type of people who love to "reach across the aisle" to the right in worship of "compromise"

My take of the day is that movies are too long and songs are too short. Some of my favorite songs of the last year have been these rare, massive opuses like Beyonce’s Ameriican Requiem and Sufjan Stephen’s Shit Talk
