I agree, shrugging it off has not worked in recent history. With Harrell and SPOG, what can we/our representatives/election commission do differently?

You CANNOT let this slide. We have learned nothing from Donald Trump if we do. He framed this entire hour long speech extravaganza as a “bipartisan passing of the torch” and peppered it with disingenuous “humble jokes” to mask the ill intentions behind it.

I'm a bit worried because of the attempted rebrand of Wilson as the elite and of Harrell as a working class hero by Harrell's campaign. Is this enough to influence the expected left shift?

It seemed coordinated and kind of makes me wonder if there was some astroturfing involved

With my limited sample size, what I saw on social media and Reddit changed after the KUOW article and the mailers.

Harrell's campaign recognized the class tensions and decided to paint her as the privileged enemy to direct attention from his extensive history of capitulation to wealth and power.

I feel like people's reactions changed around the time of the KUOW article and negative mailers. My friends on visas who are disconnected from local politics had a negative impression of Wilson due to mailers.

I also noticed an anti-Wilson trend on Reddit around the same time.

This is how our standards slowly erode to nothing.

If you allow it, people can and do justify murder.
