It's heartbreaking. I learned to ski in deep snow in the Lötschental. I spent a night in Blatten, in a Massenlager with a dozen ski tourers aiming to cross the Lötschenlücke to the Aletsch. The place was so breathtakingly picturesque. All gone. 1/2

Man stelle sich einmal vor, eine Bundestagsfraktion würde im Rahmen ihrer politischen Agenda gegen häusliche Gewalt die Frage an die Bundesregierung stellen: „Schlägt Ulf Poschardt seine Frau?“. Auf diese Weise wolle man kontrollieren, ob die Strafverfolgungsbehörden auch ihre Arbeit erledigten und genug gegen häusliche Gewalt getan wäre. Es liegt völlig auf der Hand, dass allein schon die mit der Fragestellung verbundene Unterstellung die Grundrechte von Ulf Poschardt verletzte, selbst wenn die Bundesregierung später antworten würde, dass ihr dazu keine Erkenntnisse vorlägen.

Comparing the free #Mistral #LeChat with the free #OpenAI #ChatGPT by asking how to automate operations of #NPO #non-profits. Not much difference in quality so far. ChatGPT is less sceptical about self-hosting LLM and proposes using NLP for community management, LeChat seems to be way faster.
