some of my closest friends haven’t remembered my birthday for years in a row; I normally wouldn’t complain, but the silence hit especially hard, this year.

unexpected things that have made me sad, since my dad’s passing:

this isn’t the thread I want to christen my account with, but I might start a thread of unexpected things that have made me sad, tomorrow, on the 1-month anniversary of my dad’s death, because I need a space to vent and because I know that it can be cathartic to talk about grief.
