Morning has come & I'm still salty.

Despite all my gripes, I had fun playing the game, and I'm interested to see how different choices will play out for my next character.

I am going to replay it at least one more time, because I want to complete my all-mages playthrough (I started with rogues on my first playthroughs of all 4 games.)

(OH & SLIGHTLY MAD B/C I WANTED TO ROMANCE LUCANIS AS A MAGE FOR THE IRONY, BUT OH WOW THEY DID THAT W/ NEVE & IT WAS ADORABLE BYE)

Enjoyables:
- the companions grew on me (I LOVE NEVE)
- the graphic upgrade was INSANE
- the linear approach to exploration (open world = dangerous for a completionist)
- the option to downscale combat & prioritize story progression
- Rook becoming a gryphon Mom w/ Daddy Davrin

MAD ABOUT:
- the lack of a memorable, motif-filled soundtrack
- the story choices/lack of depth in some arcs
- departures from established lore...
- Mythal's design?? phoned-in/boring af??
- VARRIC. WTAF WAS THAT ABOUT.
- the Dread Wolf's lack of fur????
- the Solavellan resolution?? w h y
