I drive around making deliveries
of stuff to people around the
country. I have a lot of time to let
my mind wander. That's rarely a
good thing.
But they should try.

ICE thug goes into a bodega to buy cigarettes. Get's asked for ID by a non-white person and immediately draws and drops to the ground to a prone shooting position.

You can also catch walleye right from shore in mid afternoon. Some people do, anyways.

Had my routine down pat: pick up an order of "Chicken in the Rough" and a pint of mushroom soup, and head down to the riverside park to have a picnic lunch and watch the Great Lakes freighters and long-tailed go by. It's an "off the beaten trail" kind of place but I never passed up a trip there.

Speaking of Port Huron, I used to end up there at least a couple of times a month and it seems like I haven't gotten sent that way in forever.

As a Minnesotan, Pond hockey was just a part of life when I was growing up. That was back in the day when indoor arenas were a luxury that most people didn't have access to. If you want to play recreational hockey, you had to be willing to suffer for your passion.

Ended up at another big railway yard with several control towers. I asked the guy I was meeting if he ever got to go up in them and hang out and watch the trains. He said, "No. They aren't even open anymore." It's all automated now.

Got a call around midnight to pick up some stuff at the railroad yard in Bellevue, OH. I didn't know there was a railroad yard there. Turns out it really big. Lots of trains. Wasn't the easiest place to get around in.

I would've liked to have asked him a couple of questions.

1. As maybe the number one source of earworms in the history of the world, has he himself ever had his brain taken over by one of his own songs?

If so, which one(s)?

Do you have a cure for earworms?
