Good baseball and good vibes only (miss you Geno)
Kirby and Gilbert both this year have been having a lot of one bad inning starts, relative to the past. I know we are up 5 but this has to stop

Well now is the time for the offense to prove itself
August 2, 2025 at 3:01 AM
Welp so much for Logan looking locked in.

I know the ump bailed us out a couple of times but that were some competitive at bats, bottom of the order did a really good job making Leiter throw. I am scared of him eventually putting it all together though. It's a shame the Mariners only got one run in

Polo really has come back to form after that rough May/June (I'm guessing it was his legs again), and Canzones clearly seeing the ball a ton better now, I'm oddly excited about the bottom of our lineup now
August 2, 2025 at 2:38 AM
Julio looking a lot more locked in today against Leiter, I'm already looking forward to seeing how much better Julio performs with the pressure being off to perform
August 2, 2025 at 2:23 AM
I'm so happy that the Mariners lineup looks like it'll be mostly consistent the rest of the year, with some actual depth. If we can take this 4 game set against Texas I feel very good about our chances the rest of the way

Trade deadline come and gone and they decide to not add another impact reliever, now Thornton is down I suspect for a while. Amazing that Dipoto somehow does so well yet fumbles such an obvious need even 12 hours ago
August 1, 2025 at 4:16 AM
Trent please no, we were doing so good
August 1, 2025 at 4:08 AM
I really hope having a proper lineup helps Julio out in the long term as well. I feel like he's put too much pressure on himself. Hopefully they re-sign at least one of Naylor/Geno this off-season and brings him some comfort
August 1, 2025 at 3:51 AM
I know there is still concerns aplenty for this Mariners ball club but it's so genuinely amazing to have a full lineup 1-9. This rips the Cano Cruz Seager years to shreds I feel like, what a treasure

Holy crap Cole Young is having a ballgame
August 1, 2025 at 3:35 AM
Christ being able to put JP in the 8 hole is so insane, suffering thru the offense of the 2010s teams, especially 2011, so nice to see the Mariners have an actual lineup
August 1, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Josh Naylor being a stealing threat is so deeply amazing to me, this Mariners roster feels so much better now with him and Geno in it
August 1, 2025 at 3:15 AM
I know Kumar Rocker isn't doing all that well this year, but it's nice seeing the Ms starting this series off strong. I can't get over that Cole Young HR, that's something you can dream on

I'll be honest, good for Roki he goes where he wants. But also I can't help but feel like all we did was waste everyone's time with this lengthy decision process. He ended up precisely where we all predicted he would go, can't help but feel like this torpedoed the whole offseason

For reasons all my own I'm rewatching Life of Pi late into the evening, the themes of faith and the horror of the human condition feel incredibly resonant at this moment. There's something about the stark ending of this movie in relation to its fantastical storytelling that feels so haunting.

It's hard to feel ticked at the Kim signing results, mostly because he should be a depth piece, the fact that us Mariners fans were hoping for a scrap and didn't even get that is damning. Being anti ownership is a cold take but it's crazy that weve punted our infielders for pennies is so depressing.

The way Seattle Mariners' Cal Raleigh sets himself apart as a hitter
There are a number of great things Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh can do, but there's one related to his switch-hitting worth knowing.

The Seattle Mariners are truly a franchise appropriate to the name with an albatross on its neck. Only instead of a curse, we have placed it on our own necks in the form of this paltry ass ownership group.

When I'm sad I like to look at this. It helps.

Will it help the '25 season? No. No it will not.

But for a bright, shining moment in 1995 we were invincible.

The Mariners will always have my heart.

Really feel like this club is gonna stand fucking pat with maybe a Turner/Santana signing and call it good. I hate feeling hostage to this team for any percentage of my emotional wellbeing

Goodie, such a pertinent move...this has been a hell of a year. Make a transaction that makes it less crummy please, Jerry.
