I think it would be somewhat strange to go to this place without sexual intentions. I suppose it can be done, but it seems to be the purpose of the place. And, again, to each their own. I just wish it was more obvious.

Does Florida shake its head at calling a “nudist lifestyle” resort a sex resort? It took up until the swing in the video for it to click for me. The website makes it more obvious but still doesn’t use any clear terminology.
I wish we could just call it what it is. There’s no shame in that.

Naturism is there for you and only you. Make it work for your preferences in my opinion! Throw on those bottoms and keep that sand away for the bits and bobs. Then pop ‘em off for a dip in the pool.

One tiny anecdote about sand: I can’t tell you how bad I feel for the little ones with bathing suits at the beach. They struggle to shake the sand that’s stuck in the suits out. Our kid can just dip in the water and be clean in a seconds. So much easier for her and us.

I totally get wearing clothes for instance where it makes practical sense. Breasts need support. Testicles need to be saved from chaffing. I think you’d find naturism here interesting in that people just kind of let you be as you choose for the most part. A lot of people pick naked. And a lot don’t!

And finally, family naturism is super normal here. Clubs are common. Children are looked after like in any other public place. They just happen to be naked. 🤷♀️

As for kids, our daughter picks and chooses when she wants to wear clothes or not at home. She likes bathing suits, but enjoys swimming without them. We’re flexible. She has way more knowledge of the human body, shapes, sizes, colors than most of her friends and classmates.

Nowadays I keep participating because it just makes sense to me practically. No suits in the water, better for the environment anyway. Lower fashion consumption. I like nice clothes, but I don’t need them on at home, for example. I’m pragmatic, of course. I’ll wear something if the weather requires.

After 10 years as a naturist, I feel like I can speak to this a bit. At first, breaking taboos definitely caused an adrenaline rush, especially when practicing it in the US. It quickly fades though. In Europe, Spain, specifically, nudity on beaches is very normal, from children to adults.

My wife and I built out a Ram ProMaster for vanlife naturist experiences across the west coast. It was amazing. We were naked in so many beautiful, isolated locations. And many trips to naturist clubs, hot springs, and beaches.

Hey! We run “This Week in Naturism” and “Now in Naturism”. We’ve been doing so for about a year now and have a pretty comprehensive algorithm. Things still slip through, but the amount is much lower and is usually cleaned up within 8 hours. We’re also seeking moderators to help out!
