I'm not a writer, so this may not be an equal comparison, but in my corporate job I bitch about having so much to do that I can't get anything done...while I get shit done.

I was the kid who didn't like "outsiders" touching me (anyone not living in my house), but I was forced to give hugs, and resented it. When my nephew was a kid, he hated it and my brother tried to force him to hug me. No way, I let him lead. Over time he initiated hugs. 💞
