Went to see Weird Al this weekend with my brother. Puddles Pity Party opened the show. I'm really lucky to have siblings on the same wavelength after all these years.

Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloom.

I am a slow crocheter, so I don't have a lot to show off. But I adapted a Princess Leia doll for my friend's baby shower, and it turned out pretty adorable. I even made buns in the back (Endor edition).

I don't really want to enter a year that will never have my dog in it. He was the best part of my life and it's so hard to move on.

I'm finally watching this banger. I normally would have seen it at least twice by now. Somehow the holiday got here faster than I was prepared for.

Someone had a very busy day and was quite tuckered out.

It's time to start getting the holiday decor out. First up, a wreath and some snowmen.

I had a rough day at work, and it made me really miss my two 'guys'--my husband and my dog. I am grateful for friends who stand in the gap, and I hope you, dear reader, have those kinds of friends too.
A less fuzzy version of my light brown miniature poodle. He is freshly shorn, posed on the groomer's table with Christmas holiday props around. He is smiling wide with large, soft brown eyes. This Christmas will be my first without him, and I am feeling his loss keenly.

I am a woman with a certain set of skills. They are unfortunately all destructive.
A lamp sits with a forlorned-looking shade that is now askew due to me knocking it off the table and accidentally catching it with my knuckle. The lampshade and my knuckle have both seen better days.

I went to a concert with my sister tonight. We had a blast, but my photo skills leave a bit to be desired.

An oldie but a goodie--the best boy I ever knew.

My coworker brought back a souvenir crystal pendant for me from her vacation. Not sure how concerned I should be...
