Going through the changes of T are complex. I have to be kind to myself and everything happening in my mind. It’s a learning curve. I was never ready for T in my 20s. Being in therapy, especially trauma therapy helps so much.

My best friend is in her PhD program and she is having a baby! Life doesn’t stop and academia persists, lol. I am really joyful for her 🙏🏽

It’s why this is so hard to let go. I have to go through the waves. And however, I am enjoying that I finally made the decision to transition to a man. I am so proud of me. I am so proud of myself! I am doing it! What joy I have. As a queer Catholic, it has taken many years to accept me.

When it’s time to let go, it’s because I know many more important things are coming out of everything. God has more in store for me. It’s just heavy that they couldn’t accept things. Instead they cared about society’s judgment.

In EMDR therapy, I have learned to be able to feel every emotion. It’s life transforming. And in the sorrow days, it’s hard, but my healthy outlets are helping. More so, than what I did with my past. I enjoy my solitude much more than I ever did in my past. That is so healing to me.

I am so far a month and one week on Testosterone. I love the changes coming. My voice is changing. I am really excited about that!

Maria harvests Mandarin oranges in Parlier CA. She drives 80+ miles every day to and from work and earns $55 per 1000 lb bin. In a 7 hr day, she can only pick 2 bins. With the current rainy weather, she now works fewer hours and worries about meeting basic expenses. #WeFeedYou

@drpanmd.bsky.social was the hero of that bill. He can tell you all about RFK Jr's *political* anti-vaccine playbook which has only grown larger and more powerful. It's why we don't call it an anti-vaccine movement anymore. It's an anti-science industry.

What a time to believe and what a time to be a researcher for me. Pretty soon I will be applying to medical school. But gosh damn. This is disappointing news.
It's worth saying that while this news is gutting--it is NOT surprising. Science denialism has been brewing for decades. Many of us who have been doing this work for longer than COVID have been sounding the alarms about RFK Jr (and CHD) This was always his end game. And he finally got it.
