Learned the term “performative reading” exists today. Find it quite ironic conceptually, as well as the fact there is now a term for it, as well as the fact that “influencers” are being maligned for it.

It’s truly impressive how well South Park remains immersed in current events. For decades it’s managed to educate ignorant people like myself — more than any news channel or the algorithm driven slim view of social media that reaches my view. Kudos to the makers.
