your typical dog that makes games
I reverted to my 2000s self and redownloaded winamp on all my devices and started buying/pirating my favorite albums. Having to more actively curate my own music library again has been giving me a greater appreciation for albums. Discovering new stuff is still somewhat unsolved for me though.

It's hilarious to me that whoever runs that account heard him say this and thought it was an insight worth clipping and didn't even correct the bit at the end where he gets confused and says that AI will return as Jesus.

Executives are the only ones regurgitative AI could actually replace. AI can fuck up game projects by making irrational demands based on utterly derivative ideas.

You wanna lay off the dead wood? Start at the fucking top.

Executives trying to replace game developers with so-called AI is nothing short of a usurpation.

They’ve always been clueless interlopers who muscled their way in, and it’s disgusting that they’re the ones authorizing themselves to decide who is needed and who is not.

It's not just London, it can be heard or seen at pretty much any train station in the country. So it probably is the closest thing we have to a nation-wide slogan

Due to Trump being seen as an unreliable ally there's been a big emphasis across Europe on trying to make our security less dependent on the US, that + ongoing Russian infringement on borders + generally less certain electricity supplies would be my guess for increased focus on this kind of thing

The last couple of years in Finland I've seen a few government advice things for emergency preparedness. But Finland generally has an attitude of "we always need to be prepared for attacks from Russia" so I think that's normal rhetoric here, with maybe a slight increase because of Ukraine.

Also returning to the main home screen and then pressing the menu button while over the games icon would bring up a menu with a close game option

Maybe it changed in an update since I last used the PS5 but holding down the playstation button on the controller used to bring up a menu with a close application option

People are struggling to get by everyday or literally dying due to poverty and inequality yet billionaires getting their feelings hurt and deciding to move mansions to another country is always pitched as some great tragedy? So tired of this narrative.

I feel like "indie games are all the same" is one of those thought-terminating beliefs that gets recycled every few years. I remember people a decade ago complaining that indie games are all just pixel platformers that don't try to innovate.
