I enjoy many things. In no particular order: gym, walks, books, singing, writing, cats, crystals, moon gazing, bicep flexing, keyboard social justice warrioring, stick collecting, supine stargazing, cuddles, green tea.

Our objective is to live a good life, learn things, meet people, grow and feel.

We must remember this.

The more of us do, the more we shift how all of this feels for everyone.
Intuition. Simultaneously one of the best and worst things in neurodivergence. Take as an example the sense of not fitting in, without clear „proof”. Yet knowing deep down it’s not just your imagination.

English language question.
Why is it “competitiveness” and not “competitivity”?

I am exhausted, but it’s been a gorgeous day. I went back to work after weeks of illness. I took a walk in the rain at lunch time. And then I had such an empowering hospital appointment - I stood up for what I wanted and the doctor obliged, sorted me there and then - I am now IUD free!

Certain white males calling reality mental illness just because it’s not what they wanted to happen.
I call it ego disease.

Husband changed our duvet to the thin, summer one. He’s happily snoring here, and I’m freezing. Ffs.

I was ripping mint strands by hand for my tea.
I forgot I let nettle grow next to it.
RIP skin on my thumb.

On 19/4/1943, the world had one duty: to defend the Jews who were being pulverised by the Nazi war machine crushing the Warsaw ghetto. Today the world has one duty: to defend the Palestinians who are being pulverised by the Israeli army in the Gaza ghetto

If my current ailments continue I will become the most boring person. No alcohol, no processed foods, NO COFFEE (🥺 this ones the worst!).

You will be left with a hard working, gym going, spirituality searching gal who you can’t take to a party cause she likes to be tucked in bed by 9pm.

I just found out my usual crystal provider now stores a limited amount of Brandberg quartz.
In two minds over taking a mortgage out to get one, or just continue being branderbergless.

You can guess my husbands face when I told him how much one goes for 😱

No one who cares about wildlife and ecosystems is now likely to vote Labour in 2029.
Or about Gaza.
Or poverty.
Or inequality.
Or international aid.
Or corporate power.
Or democratic reform.
Or racism.
Or trans rights.
So that's goodbye to just about its entire vote.
What are they playing at?

The Prime Minister imitating Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech is sickening.

That speech fuelled decades of racism and division. Echoing it today is a disgrace. It adds to anti-migrant rhetoric that puts lives at risk.

Shame on you, Keir Starmer.

Fun thing I found out from GP yesterday is that they can’t suggest probiotics
Why? Cause they will be expected to prescribe them and there is no funding for such things

In my current condition probiotics could be helpful (and I don’t mind buying them) - but if I didn’t ask GP wouldn’t have told me😖

Really enjoying the “Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal”.
It’s one of those reads where I find myself just nodding along and also remembering the systemic issues that made school life of an ND person just awful.

Thank you @robinince.bsky.social for writing this book ♥️

Having to be on a low-fiber diet is the weirdest sh… especially when doctor is like: try not to eat many fruits, or drink any juices. White bread and potatoes are preferable.
It’s also not as easy for someone who is vegan.
But there is a certain pleasure in relaxing into carby carbs.

The concept of time when you sit at home and just wait through a minor illness is somewhat similar to the feeling of days between Christmas and New Year.

Zombie walking through the house wondering what time or day of the week it is.

Israel are planning to 'move' the population of Gaza as part of a new plan to "capture" the territory.

It's clear for everyone to see. This is ethnic cleansing.

Still feeling rubbish. 111 advice is to “Contact your GP surgery within the next few days”. Guess who’ll be on the phone line from 8am tomorrow morning? 🥺
