🚨 EXPLODING WHALE DAY🚨

November 12, 1970:

A 40 ton whale carcass lays, rotting, on an Oregon beach.

A crowd has gathered to watch the whale carcass be dynamited to dispose of it.

HILARITY*. ENSUES.

I realize you're focusing on a longer timeline, but I wonder why you didn't include removing Schumer from leadership.

I called Sen Wyden's office to say hold the line, but did not call yours because I already trusted you would. Thank you once again for your principled stand.

Ok, maybe I'm missing something big here, but how exactly is Player A in EITHER scenario going to lose those aces? And if they always keep the aces, how can they lose the game?

....oh wait. I forgot about ties. The aces could be in the first or second facedown cards. Right?

Oh, I see. My intuition is that Player A wins both. On average they'll keep accumulating cards and/because they'll have better cards on average than Player B.

My intuition is scenario 2 is better, because at the end of playing their 4 aces, the BEST situation for Scenario 2's Player A is to end up with 4 A and 4 K (which is where Scenario 2 starts).

One other clarification - it's not unusual to have different "tracks" where kids take these at different ages. Most commonly, these 3 courses would be grades 9-11 or grades 8-10.

If you look at im.kendallhunt.com/HS/index.html you can see one widely used curriculum.
