Always, says Thomas.
Thomas, a large black cat, sits on a couch and stares at the camera. Thomas has one eye. When he six, he was found wandering; he was underweight and had a severe eye infection. He was adopted shortly after he was found and is now eight years old and very happy and healthy. He does not let his altered depth perception get in the way of jumping to the top of the cat tree—the perfect perch from which to smack the annoying younger cats.

The best thing I can say about Jefferson City is that I liked the people I worked with! There aren’t a lot of hotels in town but there is a hotel that has been seemingly frozen in time since the 80s. (This was a few years ago—maybe they’ve updated since?)
Capitol Plaza Hotel atrium. There is a several story fountain with colored lights and the vibe is 1980s prom.

Two listeners in Pittsburgh: do I know you?
