Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.

Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.

Nobody cares, but the best news of the year is that I'm going to see the Horrors in Madrid (last time was in 2009 in San Diego at the Casbah). Science is nice but music is gold. I should thank this band in all my publications. www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7WA...

I am afraid I won't be patient either with suggestions that comparisons to Nazi Germany are hyperbolic. People are having grants terminated and being expelled from programs. History is being rewritten. Papers and websites are being censored. As far as this goes, it's the same tactic.
