We should be looking at Uruguay for more solutions - the frightening thing is the government here is taking us backwards in almost every environmental policy.

My husband has made the same joke for years about having a little space free when asked if he would like dessert - and TIL the Japanese have a word for this.

The people I know working in health & education work hard, for more hours than they are paid & feel terrible they can't meet the needs of their communities. These public services are seriously underfunded & being cut back further for a reason.

#cats This is Moon. He is not my cat. He's very sweet & has become BFF with my kitten. Unfortunately, this has changed the dynamic between our older cat & younger one, & she hisses at her now when she had accepted her. We put Moon out about 10x a day, he does not take offence or even much notice.

Such an awful way to see out a pretty awful year. Worst Government - people are poorer, public services stripped, NGOs struggling, environment will be raped & our global image tarnished.
