The New Orleans writing scene is ablaze with killer work, and reading alongside these exceptional talents made me giddy. I cannot wait to hear and read more of their poems, books, and stories. Absolute blast of an evening!

Getting that MFA reading done with Alice Notley's "The Descent of Alette" (and a too-long-to-justify/definitely-not-efficient/barely-successful tangent with the clone stamp tool to highlight the exact part of the text I've liked most so far).
