The only thing I might truly hand to Hades 1 (one of my favorite games mind you) is the more intimate plot. The father-son struggle felt more personal than a higher stakes save-the-world story. A refusal of the status quo rather than a protection of it.

But! I’d rather actually PLAY the second.

Absolutely understandable! If the anime makes the most sense for y’all I recommend looking into One Pace if you haven’t already—just a fan made list cutting the chaff and filler that the anime added for week-to-week padding.

Absolutely skip the clip episodes! It’s mild now and then gets real bad in later arcs.

The manga’s pacing is pristine especially compared with the anime as it goes on, but I get that it doesn’t have the appeal of a mutual show-watching experience

Took over a dozen runs to beat Chronos (worse than the time it took for my first clear in Hades 1) but I cleared the Surface on my 3rd try without even needing a Death Defy, which I’m proud of

This came at the perfect time (cleared my first Surface run ((Moros)) yesterday)
