Love my family, travel and Lincoln City fc. Old punk, now eclectic music tastes including frequent live gigs. In my 60’s. Be nice, be kind, try to understand, never hate.
First band I ever saw live, Lincoln Drill Hall, 1979. Fair to say they changed my life - and all for the better!

And by the way, one of the best comedy films ever made!

But players have to take responsibility - 4 totally unnecessary yellows in first half and now we’re down to 10 men. Ethan, 2 yellows in 5 minutes both for talking back - not acceptable from the player. House booked every game - detracts from what a good player he can be

Good to see you posting here guys - don’t think I’m the only one to have left the other place - was wondering how I’d stay in touch!

I read the title of this track ‘The best day ever’ and through immediate word association in my head came to ‘the worst day since yesterday’ by Flogging Molly. And yet normally I’m such a cup half full kind of guy!

Love less than Jake. Lucky enough to see them when they toured the uk in ‘23 - so much energy and SO loud! Can’t wait for them to be back this side of the water!

Just a few years before me. I was early ‘70’s - T-Rex, Sweet, singles I probably bought there - still got them all. What singles were your favourites?

I remember Spouges on the Cornhill in Lincoln, with those little private booths where you could take a record to listen before buying! That’s where I went before maturing over later years (age 16/17) into Sanctuary Records!

Sanctuary records in Lincoln. Every Saturday in 1979! Could rarely afford to buy anything and was too shy to say much, but just being around such vibrant confident people who were both weird and yet so nice!

Mum and Dad were heavily into the church so I was brought up that way - but as I developed my own thoughts and applied some common sense I saw the light! Added to which - organised religion of all sorts have a lot to answer for across the world!

They’re amazing Rob. I love many of the modern worship buildings but those old cathedrals - quite how they were built in such magnificent detail all those years ago is amazing!!
