Damaging society is easy (in this case the enfeeblement of scocial
Housing), repair takes time and sustained effort. Now would be a really good time to start

That is true…but only so long as demand exceeds supply. Hence we must build enough houses, otherwise landlords determine the return they want, rather than competition making an effective market.

Also I assume West Oxfordshire council advise against travelling by car

Has anyone pointed out that there are thousands of people dying from natural disasters driven by climate change

On that I agree…

That is fair.

I start from the position that no system is perfect, but you have to work within it until you can change it.

The waste I was referring to is my (admittedly English) perspective on the disaster of infighting (and worse) amongst senior SNP figures…

@johnwhitbymp.bsky.social good to see you supporting the Peak District National Park…what pressure are you able to bring to bear given the funding crisis that PDNP (and other national parks are facing). We need the National Parks to be more than a planning authority, which is where we are headed.

UN law does not apply to the US…or at least the US believes that…only to countries that disagree with the US.

Thanks for this, and I will use the link, but with a heavy heart. There will be no meaningful consequence, there almost never is for the RW media!

Only once told to be by the Mail…because we cant have pints of champagne or whatever fiction they invent,

Are we still kidding ourselves that the USO is still worth anything. Royal Mail have admitted prioritising parcels over post. For my village post is now only three, maybe four days a week. This week: no post Weds-Fri…eight items on Saturday. That is hard to rationalise as a six day service
