Unclear if this conflation of two stories by the BBC about itself is an attempt to dilute one about the abusive behaviour of some in the BBC or partially smear those high on the salary list.

Now TV's poor reputation for customer service seems well deserved from my experience trying to get my mum's line working again. Apparently she must be on the phone to answer security questions even though (as I explained) she's 100 miles and her phone's not working...
