Epic Lasagna. The hard part in making this is the 20 minute wait now before serving.

A wonderful start to the day - received my copy of my mentor, Kim Suvarna’s book. I authored ch 10. Published after his death - he is much missed.

Today’s excursion was an ‘African market experience’. Certainly an experience - first time we’ve needed a guide and security to see a market. most interesting part an area we couldn’t take photos - traditional medicine market where it’s believed that taking photos steals the essence of the medicine.

The port of Durban is one of the largest in Africa, but not the largest. The others must be HUGE! This is only part of it.

Today we are in Durban and have taken a trip to PheZulu and the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Was excellent!

The sun has appeared but as we approach the Tropic of Capricorn it’s only about 15C. Still, the seas are calm and it’s a pleasant day

We’re on our way to Walvis Bay and the Skeleton Coast in Namibia. View this morning is more reminiscent of Greenland…

On #regentsevenseas cruises, a Sunday sea day means brunch. And OMG!!
December 22, 2024 at 9:00 AM
What am I missing? Isn’t the point of the saying that it is an excuse to drink BEFORE 5pm? 😆

It’s a hard life. We have left Cape Town and now cruising to Walvis Bay in Namibia. Caviar and mimosa for breakfast - a light start as it’s brunch at 10am and apparently that’s something of a showstopper.

Well it turns out we’ve had a new experience. A sail away party without sailing away. Too windy apparently. Still it is lovely here in Cape Town.

Cruising in Splendor. Some of the best burgers ever. ⅔ of our cases have arrived and been unpacked. Met our room attendant. Now quite warm. Loving it.
